Delete my account and my data

You stay in control, at all times.

You can delete your Emori account and all the associated data whenever you wish. There are two ways to do it.

From the app (recommended)

Open Emori and go to the Profile tab.
Tap Delete profile.
Confirm the deletion.

The deletion is immediate and permanent: your account and all of your data are erased straight away. It cannot be undone.

By email

If you no longer have access to the app, send a message from the email address linked to your account to contact@emori.site with the subject “Delete my account”. We will process your request within 30 days at most and confirm the deletion to you.

What is deleted

your account, your login identifier and your email address;
your first name, your date of birth and your preferences;
all your memories: transcriptions, summaries, keywords, people, places and actions;
your voice recordings, those kept on your phone and any older ones still stored on our servers;
the spellings of first names you corrected;
your streak and your rewards journey;
the search index linked to your memories;
your usage analytics data held by PostHog;
your photos and their thumbnails;
your Emori Premium subscription information held by RevenueCat;
your “Sign in with Apple” authorization, which is revoked if you used it.

Your Emori Premium subscription is not cancelled by deleting your account: it belongs to your Apple or Google account. To stop being charged, cancel it in your phone settings: on iPhone, Settings › your name › Subscriptions; on Android, Google Play › Payments and subscriptions › Subscriptions. Emori reminds you of this when you delete your account.

Residual retention period. Copies may remain briefly in the technical backups of our hosting providers, and are then erased automatically. We may keep the bare minimum of information where the law requires it (for example accounting records, for at least 6 years).
